Hey, ladies and gents! If you haven’t heard, myself and 3 writer friends have started an online literary journal called Swarm. It’s been a lot of work preparing, and finally we’re able to show you some of the things we’ve been working on. Each week from now, until the Winter 2013 issue launch, we will be sharing an interview one of us editors have conducted with the inaugural issue’s contributors.

And as luck would have it, my interview gets to go first! I had the honor of interviewing the terrific Karen Skolfield (sound familiar? See the “Writers I Admire” tab at the top of the page), whose poem “Homunculus” is going to grace our journal next month. I could not be more pleased with how the interview came out; Karen is witty, gracious, and insightful. And effortlessly so. We at Swarm are extremely thrilled to have her involved in our inaugural issue.

Also, submissions are open early for our Spring 2013 issue, so click on the “Submit” tab on the Swarm site (hint: poke the bugs up top!) for the guidelines and details. Those will be open until April 30th, plenty of time to get those poems and short pieces of fiction to us (looking at our masthead and the Winter issue out on Feb 15th will be good ways to see what we like!).

Finally, two of my poems have been published at A-Minor, do check them out! On the shorter side, certainly, but (hopefully) just as enjoyable!

That’s all, folks!
