The other day I received the best news of 2017 (so far!), that my poem, “Epithalamium,” from Southern Humanities Review Issue 50.1&2, was named the Hoepfner Literary Award winner for Poetry.
Each year, the editors of Southern Humanities Review give the awards to an outstanding essay, story, and poem published in the previous volume.
I’m a little beside myself with surprise and gratitude to Aaron Alford and all at SHR for this honor and their support of me and my work.
